I bought this to keep my deep cycle marine batteries, lawn mower battery, and ATV batteries charged up over the winter. Works great.
I bought it because it has a 15 amp charge rate for larger automotive batteries and a 2 amp charge rate for smaller batteries like the ones used in an ATV or riding mower. The smaller batteries require a 2 amp charger.
I used the engine start feature worked perfectly. Engine start is a great feature.
It is does the job and is very sturdy.
